PIONEERLAND
Pioneerland is located at the LaPorte County Fairgrounds, LaPorte, Indiana. It began in 1995 as part of the LaPorte County Fair 150th Anniversary, and has grown to include a log cabin, blacksmith shop, antique post & beam barn, one room school house, post office, general store, farm bureau cabin, pioneer heritage garden, outdoor cooking kitchen, quilter's cabin, artisan barn, and wash house.
The entire village was funded and is operated by volunteers depicting the 1800-1840's time period. Be sure to visit Pioneerland during the LaPorte County Fair.
